An investigation is only as good as the person running it. At CrowPI, every case is handled by licensed, experienced professionals — not outsourced to whoever's available. Here's who you'll actually be working with.

Jeffrey C. — Owner & Lead Investigator

Jeffrey founded CrowPI and has led the agency for over 10 years. He's been a licensed private investigator for 14 years, with hands-on experience across nearly every type of case the firm handles — from child custody and matrimonial investigations to complex corporate and workplace matters.

Jeffrey has presented evidence in court countless times and understands what separates a report that gets accepted from one that gets picked apart under cross-examination. His work has taken him well beyond Ontario: he's conducted numerous international investigations, including cases involving international child abduction and cross-border corporate matters.

He's a certified member of the Council of International Investigators (CII), a global professional association that sets rigorous standards for the industry, and he was a published writer in the CII's 2nd Edition Casebook — a collection of case studies contributed by investigators from around the world. It's the kind of recognition that comes from doing the work, not just advertising it.

Uju I. — Lead, Workplace Investigations

Uju brings a perspective to CrowPI that most investigation firms don't have: she’s a lawyer licensed to practice law in Ontario with additional expertise in Human Resources (HR). She leads our workplace investigations team, handling cases involving harassment claims, misconduct, policy violations, and internal disputes that require both investigative skill and a real understanding of employment law.

Uju’s legal background matters. Workplace investigations sit in a legally sensitive space — done wrong, they can expose an employer to liability regardless of what the investigation actually finds. Uju's dual expertise means CrowPI's workplace investigations are built to hold up not just factually, but legally, from witness interviews through to the final report.

Senior Investigators

Beyond our leadership team, CrowPI employs experienced, licensed private investigators across our service areas in Ontario and Alberta. Every investigator on our team is chosen for the same qualities: discretion, patience, and the ability to get results without ever compromising a case.

Surveillance work looks straightforward from the outside — sit, watch, document. In practice, it requires investigators who know how to remain unnoticed for hours or days at a time, who understand the legal boundaries around evidence collection, and who can adapt when a case doesn't go the way it was planned on paper.
